According to an MPR report, The two leading Republican candidates for governor say they'd favor an Arizona-style immigration crackdown in Minnesota.

While the draconian law is at least based on a legitimate problem in Arizona, Minnesota has not been a haven for illegals of any national origin. Only 2 percent, according to Department of Homeland Security numbers. Which begs the question, why are either of these guys even talking about this?
