I want my state back...

I feel our show and this blog have been searching for a direction, of late. In pursuit of a national audience, I have been a little guilty of abandoning the issues here at home.

I love our nationwide, as well as worldwide following, but Roger and I, first and foremost, are Minnesotans. And there are many issues right here in this state which require attention. The state legislature is about to put on the ballot, an initiative that would specifically define marriage as between one man and one woman. This assault on basic human rights is so un-Minnesotan, and cannot be allowed to go forward.

We are also dealing with a possible expansion in gaming, and a push for a new stadium for the Vikings. In short, there is enough in Minnesota to talk about, in a hour long show that only airs live, once a week.

We will still cover major events nationwide, but we are going to begin the transformation back to our Minnesota roots.
